Dionysios Kyropoulos
was born in Greece and moved to the UK to continue his singing studies.
He took the City Opera course at City Lit, and studied at Morley Opera
School. He is currently reading music at City University, having
singing lessons at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Robert
Dean. Some of his full roles include Plutone in Peri’s Euridice, Uberto in Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona, Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Simone in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Polyphemus in Handel's Acis and Galatea, Antonio in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Badger in Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen.
Dionysios has sung with Riverside Opera, Mantissa Opera, Barefoot
Opera, Rose Opera Company and Unexpected Opera. He sang in the 2009
Longborough Festival Opera production of La Bohème, and also in their 2010 Young Artists Concert. He is currently preparing to sing the bass solos in Purcell’s Ode on St Cecilia’s Day conducted by Michael Sanderson and Mozart’s Requiem conducted by Michael Fields. Donald Bennet is
a post-graduate viol student of Liam Byrne at the Guildhall School of
Music & Drama. He studies modern cello with Richard Lester and
baroque cello with Alison McGillivray. Prior to this Donald was an
Instrumental Award Holder at Clare College, Cambridge and performed in
Cambridge as co-principal cellist of the Cambridge University Chamber
Orchestra and with the Cambridge University Collegium Musicum on
baroque cello. Donald enjoys performing in a wide array of ensembles in
London and projects have ranged from Arne to Zappa. Recent venues
include LSO St Lukes and Wigmore Hall.

Alex McCartney is a
lutenist studying at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
His current tutors are William Carter and David Miller. Artists that
Alex has worked with and alongside include; Emma Kirkby, The Royal
Ballet, Defleo, Poeticall Musicke, Britten–Pears Baroque Orchestra, The
Hidden Cameras, The Musicians of London Wall, En Travesti, Yorke Trust
Baroque Orchestra, Passamezzo, James Akers, Liam Byrne, Ian Wilson,
Guildhall Lutes and Voices, The Amadee Players, The Guildhall Consort
and Baroque Orchestra (Directed by Eamon Dougan), Joseph Chesshyre,
Rosemary Galton, Donald Bennet, Kaisa Pulkkinen and others. In December
2010 Alex founded Poeticall Musicke, an early music group specialising
in Renaissance to Mid-Baroque music. The members of Poeticall Musicke
are Rosemary Galton (Soprano), Kaisa Pulkkinen (Harps), Donald Bennet
(Cello/Viol), Joseph Chesshyre (Keyboards) and Alex McCartney
